Finally got round to watching these and loving it. Also love the Hero Quest board/cover/shield thing Chef has in front of him, my eye is always drawn to it when watching.

This is fantastic gentlemen. So far I’m really intrigued by Erevan’s story! Really engaging acting from Griffon and Anrakai.

I feel end fight is a huge tick in the pros column for the Flanking rule ?

Trev

Wow. That was intense! So intense! At the end, I was literally screaming at the monitor “Save him, you fools! Save Anrakai!!” Great episode!!!

I’m really enjoying this D&D serie, great stuff all around! I’ve never played a pen & paper roleplaying game, but this has definitely piqued my interest. Maybe you could do a serie with a 40K roleplaying game some time in the future? I know there’s a new one on the works and of course there’s the Fantasy Flight ones. I imagine that could be popular too since it would combine both aspects of what you guys do the best. Cheers for all the enjoyment you have given me!

Hey guys! I’m a new subscriber and I am loving all the content you guys do! This series has real potential with some very good RPing and good personalities. One suggestion though- roll first THEN describe what happens so you don’t have to repeat yourselves twice. It’s far more awesome to make up the consequences of the roll.
Also, Bone is an absolute legend. 10/10 to all of you though. Very glad I became a member.

These are fast becoming my favourite videos of yours, gents. As a narrative junkie this is magnificent content you’re putting out, always look forward to the next video and set aside the time specially for it. As others have said, I think I’m getting more value out of my on demand subscription here than I am from my netflix account, lol. Helps that you’re all quality roleplayers, really brings the characters to life.

What a finish!
Ibarely made it through the first episode, but I’m glad I carried on… WOW! Exciting stuff!

I have a confession: I hated seeing some random D&D content on my premium-paid 40k tactics website- until, almost out of spite, I decided to go back and watch episode one of this series.. Now, I can only say one thing: Wow. The cast of players is an AMAZING show. I tend to listen to the battle reports while driving during my day job, but with all your flare for imaginative storytelling and acting, this is so much more engaging. Plus, for someone who wasn’t remotely interested in d&d before watching, I am SO captivated- to the point where I’m… Read more »

THIS IS SO EPIC!! 😀 Been roleplaying for near 30 years and the feelings and elation you guys dispaly is so invigorating and really takes me back to the “younger years” !! Thanks for the great sessions so far. Keep pushing on! FOR GLORY

Really love the series and can’t wait for more – was just wondering what you guys use the ear pieces for? Unless it is for some greater mysterious purpose of course …

Can’t write Drama like that, a real nail biter ! tend those wounds fellas and get back at er 🙂

GemiNaga

Can’t stop loving these! I do wish you guys worked together more and acknowledged and used each other’s strengths – i.e. if you’re creeping up on someone let the stealthy ones go in first, or if you’re charging head on have the tankier ones take front or block tiles and sacrifice a hit to protect a ranged companion. Most of the time it seems you all just want to run in and wack things

Justin Dunn

Such a boss episode! Clutch roll to keep Anrakai in the game and the RP during Erevan casting Arms on the group was awesome. Loved Griffin’s glimpse of the after life.

Random question away from DnD,(which is awesome btw) but does Chef have a preferred 40k army? I can associate the likes of Beard with Chaos, Colonel with IG but what about Chef?

Jamie Swift Drake

Love it! Another great episode. Massive props to Michael for the world he’s created. Bit creeped out that I started singing Brave, Brave Sir Robin at the same time Bone started to…..

Jonathan Wernham

So far this is beating Star Trek Discovery, The Walking Dead and the Arrowverse as my most eagerly anticipated weekly show!!!! God damn some good story telling and acting from the team. Amazing stuff! So act 5 is on tomorrow you say 😉

My heart can’t take another episode like that 0_o When Anrakai and Erevan were down and Lugo and Griffin just kept missing with only 5 minutes left of the video I honestly thought it was the end. I cheered when you brought it down but come on guys no one thought to target the literally glowing weak points on the wraith…I mean the construct!? ? Well done though such quality entertainment as always but by god get some balanced dice or the cast of players will meet bloody ends soon :O

Thommo
Thommo

Interested in knowing if The Chef had left a way for them not to fight the construct. The way it turned and then attacked the kobold made me think it was on a pre-programmed path, and if they had snuck around behind it they could have crossed the room without needing to fight.

Jon Lambert
Jon Lambert

I have to say, this was the best episode yet. You all are bosses! Griffon seems to be the MVP of this one though.

Andrew Carter

That was hilarious with the first fight and super tense with the construct, loved it.

Love the paintjob on the Wraithblade, is someone working on a Biel-Tan force or are the Ghosts getting an update?

DonBon
DonBon

Well… wow! This was awesome and surprisingly tense! I think in spite of all the heroic action and Anrakai’s brush with death, the thing that worried me most was the concern that maybe the IRL cast were angry with Beard for his miscast spell! Everyone was playing their characters so well it made me wonder if there was some real life resentment – and then everyone started laughing and the worry melted away and the sun came out from behind the clouds! ? Absolutely loving this addition to your channel and feeling inspired to roll up a D&D character and… Read more »

The look in Bones eyes when he was checking with Chef after that final roll, better than many movies out there! This is amazing stuff produced by a group of amateurs (now professionals as you’re making money off of it) and it is by far the best content I’ve ever viewed on an amateur channel – Can’t wait for next episode. You guys are making me procrastinate on a whole new level 😀

Tony Molinari
Tony Molinari

This episide …. my word. I was out of my seat with my nose an inch away from screen for that last death save. You could cut the tension with a knife. You guys are hitting it out of the park with this series.

michalXxX

Awesome 😀 Several times i almost fell of my chair that tense it was 😀 And also fun as hell 🙂

I think next episode the beards face will be completely consumed by “the beard”.
