The Music when Griffon is convincing Andrakai to come with them was beautiful. Perfect for the moment. I definitely didn’t cry…

Started watching your 40k batreps, but Cast of Players is the true reason I had to sign up for On Demand and lose sleep this week, with every episode drawing me deeper. I have learned a lot from Chef and he has made me want to DM. I laugh with Griffin, I rage with Luko, I sweat with Anrakai and I mourn with Erevan’s dice rolls (jokes, love the hex blade!).
This has all made me go get the D&D starter set after months of talking about it. Thanks gents!

As much as I enjoy this series, I didn’t expect it to make me emotional. Griffin proved me wrong when he offered his ring to Amrokai.

Bravo.

Around the 12 minute mark. ‘Spit it up Cob’ ‘Because he’s quite all and they are very little’. Had me in stitches

Oh man, the pit battle is the most epic battle in the entire series. Cast of Players alone has been worth my On demand Subscription! Can’t wait for what’s next!

Yeeeesssss!! This is my most anticipated show on this channel, and I’m even a 40k junky! Poor Erevan, to be fair he did do the most damage to the second creature next to Anrakai!

One of the best shows I have watched in a long time. I can’t wait to see more. I would also like to pray to the dice gods to lift the curse the have placed upon Beard.

Stumodelmaker

This series is astonishing. Some of the best ‘tv’ I have watched in a long time. Me and my 8 year old son Jenson always sit down and watch these together and last night, looking across at him when Anrakai was saved by Joanna he was wiping tears from his eyes. So cute and incredibly awesome that he is so engaged with this series and with D&D. As soon as we got out of bed this morning we jumped in the car and have just got back from our local hobby shop with a D&D starter box set in hand!… Read more »

Every episode is an absolute rollercoaster. I’m either feeling tense af, concerned, amazed or I’m howling with laughter at Bone playing Griffin, even the facial expressions are on point. Another amazing episode, gents. Very well done. Chef, you are a diamond of a DM

Anrakai, lost opportunity to spill some black nose blood and to give a nasty look at a tide wielder. She cast a spell right on you! Epic final fight. The Sanger remains “the wild thing” with the dice and the tactics. The lasso was priceless. I thought he was gonna get a strength test to pull both out, but ? no…

Love Lawrence to bits but Anrakai is a proper dick at times 😛 xxx

Absolutely outstanding guys! This is my number 1 most anticipated show on any media!

Just a quick side question, I can chromecast the free-view episodes fine (because they are on youtube) but not the on demand stuff. Is it possible to enable casting for subscription-only content?

Epic!!!! Great job guys!

Wonderful episode! The moment of Lawrence’s character plunging down to meet his death was definitely the epitome of awesomeness 🙂 but you all did astoundingly great guys, each character feeling so alive (including Joanna! ;)))

This episode did remind me however of why I quit DnD myself after a couple of attempts. This system of d20s is SO random, and at times so ridiculously unpredictable, that it often just feels silly. Still, this speaks even higher of your roleplaying skills guys, that you managed to enact each silly trick of dice so flawlessly. Great job!!

Seriously Guys get the poor man some cough syrup haha. As always another exciting cast of players

Back to back episodes?! I think this may be the best one yet, that fight scene was incredible! I was a little sad when you decided to bail and climb out of the pit after killing the first creature, so i was glad Beard dragged you all back in. What a fight. It’s great to see everyone getting more and more into it and to see their characters and classes develop, I can’t wait for more!

Honestly ive never been interested in D and D but tentatively watched part 1 because its you guys. I absolutely love the narrative, descriptions, the format but most of all its you guys yourselves that really make it entertaining. Your creativitiy and humour is amazing and infectious. Everytime you drop an episode, or two(!), I know Im in for an awesome movie style adventure! My only criticism is I cant be an active part of it!
Keep up the amazing work you bosses!

What can I say, totally riveting stuff. I’ve never played D&D: my God, what have I been missing all these years?

Poor Beard, rolling dice is just not your thing…really felt for you mate, but was bursting out laughing like an idiot too.

I love the amazing descriptions of your attacks guys. It’s just a shame the dice gods seem to say (especially for Beard) ‘not today fellas. Try again’ 😉

That was so sick! Even the music was perfect! The convo between bone and spider before they left and during the final battle… awesome!

My god I lost it at Beards rolling in this. Total legend!! Epic episode as the combat parts are what I really enjoy about D & D!
