Don’t know if older comments get seen but man I enjoyed this! Ad Mech just doesn’t get played enough. Love watching them and Nids because they’re so different. Having said that all the batreps are great, you guys are hilarious. Greetings from Canada.

Game over when Stig fluffed the objective marker pick thinking the Death Jester was on it ?then 2 D3’s for max points, game set match. Good game though as always!

Great as always, i love to see the Harlequins in Action, everytime worth a laughter hehe ^^
one thing i noticed BBone, you cant fire overwatch with the Troupes inside their transports, didnt matter that much i think. Keep up the good work 😉

Bone my man you need to remember like most of us to use those plasma grenades on the dudes without fusion 😛 almost more forgotten than orbital debris or restoratives in open war lol.

Stig gave up +1 Cover to for re-roll ones, but forgot to use re-roll ones many times. Esp on the Infiltrators, could have been game changing. Also I think Solar Atomizer is d6 dmg against Vehicles?

Stiggers, any chance of trying the Servitor Man-nipple, Maybe try it with Ryza for plasma specialist Strat.
Also the neutron has something going for that alot of guns don’t and that it is very exciting to shoot. The Dakka bots I find you are killing by a 1000 paper cuts with is good but not as Thrilling 🙂

Owen Jaecker

Have found neutron laser to be pretty awful – Icarus Array is so good in the meta. You can’t shoot neutron laser at a knight anyway, and Icarus Array does so well against all aeldari, plus can still hit on 2s, with so many shots it can perform well against everything.

Bone, very entertaining last couple of games between you and Beard and you and Stig. But I am afraid the Chaoslordbeard tainted your Toga dice when you weren’t looking and the only solution is to purge them with holy fire.

Stig, those were some hot rolls, Obviously you are recent graduate from the Spider’s online Dice Rolling class, lol!

Keep up the great work…if you can call it that, you fellas have too much fun!

I see the title, I do not know what list he take, I do not know what strategy he will use, nor I know what the servants of Mars are searching, all I know their leader name is Stig.

Gets two rounds of re-roll 1’s in combat. Proceeds to not re-roll 1’s and even “remembers” he can’t re-roll 1’s in a combat he should have been re-rolling ones lol ! It would have been an injustice if you managed to pull that back from Bone! Great fun still

Loves this game. You missed a lot of – 1 to wounds but laughed so much I didn’t care. It was like a game between me and my friends. I love these type of games.

Maybe it’s because I’m a computer programmer, but it’s far easier to spoof results from a dice rolling app than, well… reality. It’s for that reason alone I dislike those apps.

Besides, everything else in this game is physical and *awesome*, I don’t see dice should be different.

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but looked like your forgot shield from harm on the shadowseer * edit you caught it* . Great report but I missed the singing

Stig, how did you make the bases for your army? Everything just looks incredible. Been thinking about starting an Ad Mech army for some time, but i just can’t find a color scheme do to them justice.

Other than that, great batrep, gents.

Good game, a bit of a shame about the mistakes concerning the Maelstrom cards not sure if it would have made a difference though. And I’m not sure you played Crawl correctly, I believe he just gives a normal “re-role” before “modifiers”. Really interesting to see how the Harlequines can win with so few models. Stig: The Ironstriders are a very interesting option for creating a “castle wall”. I take them as a unit of 5 with 1 laser canon (320pts). deployed using the 6″ unit coherency allows Rangers or Vangard to deploy between them (makes charging the wall more… Read more »

As someone with glasses I totally relate with Ben. Looking for your glasses, while not having them on, is Hell. Like… the whole reason I have them, is because I cannot see properly :`(

Goes to show that it’s important to play out the game even if it looks grim in the dark. Solid win Mr. Bone!

Time to Cawl in spec-savers Bone, you’re back to HD Ready in this one!

This was a fun game. I am shocked that Bone managed to win the game after the first turn. Castle deployment with those kind of guns vs needing to get into CC range usually means bad things for the assault list. Glad that was not the case this time. I am surprised we didn’t get a Kiss from the Rose at some point.

Aww one thing for next time y’all play this mission – after the first battle round, you actually generate two objectives FOR every one you achieved in the previous round! – so in turn 2 for example Bone would have generated four! And furthermore, the cap of 6 is not the amount you can have at one time like usual missions, its just the maximum amount you can generate each turn, there is no maximum for the amount you can have at once! (Hence it being called a cascaaaade – the objective generating is exponential). And this is why they… Read more »

Finally more mechanicus! As a newer player I picked Admech to start with. I agree with the Onagers. I’ve been thinking of getting some ironstriders instead but am still undecided. Admech damage overall seems really random. And we almost have to run a knight.

Bone and the studio Harlequins take on the might of the Adeptus Mechanicus under the command of our tame wargamer
Some say he can run backwards faster than he can run forwards
And that he wasn’t surprised when Manchester United were knocked out of the FA Cup because he knows Wolves are a brilliant team who are gonna win the FA Cup!!!
All we know is… he’s called The Stig

Great game. Was interesting seeing the harlequins without the jetbikes.
Stig’s ad mech seemed really immobile, is there anything else they can take with a but of movement to help grab objectives and the suchlike?

SPOILERS!!!!

How did you win that game bone!!! I almost stopped watching after the first half hour. Madness! MADNESS!!!

Exorcists. And I totally agree with the D6 shots D6 dmg is far too random. I’ve always thought those sort of weapons should be 2D3.
If they change that though, and don’t mention any of the other D6 shot guns (cough Doomsday Ark cough) then …. well…

Watching this while painting a commission, this should be a great game 😀 That’s a cool ‘Quin list 😀 So awesome
