  • Muzzatroll

Wow, GK are insanely good (maybe helped out by Lawrence Luck Xtremeยฎ) ๐Ÿ™‚

That Vortex really has the potential to act as an extremely powerful sniper!

  • Chris Smith

I find your lack of Chaos Lord Beard disturbing on this debut Chaos outing.

    • DMvdH

Yes, would’ve given us some more insights into the new units as well. Though I am not sure the Beard could’ve held with the horrendous Lawrence luck!

      • James Daniel Wilcox

Hmmm this posted in the wrong spot.

    • The B-Bone

Agreed, it would have been far more fitting for that beautiful Bearded man to be there… Alas he was busy… And left the filthy heretics to me haha! He will be back with all his chaos goodness soon have no fear!

  • Archmike

Isn’t there a Khornate/world eater stratagem like the black templars one that denies on a 4+? That could have helped with the vortex ๐Ÿ™‚

    • The B-Bone

It sure could have… My bad… Knowing my luck with these dice rolls though it wouldn’t have helped

      • Archmike

True, you would have had to be able to roll above a 2 ๐Ÿ˜› x

  • Jonathan Taff Jones

to be aware the charge phase is not the fight phase so GK won’t get to reroll wounds against daemons.

    • Erwan Henriot

I think you are confused. The charge phase is when you resolve charge movement and overwatch. It is followed by the fight phase, when you role attacks and wounds, and when the Daemon Hunters rule apply.

      • Jonathan Taff Jones

that was what i said. the grand master was rerolling his to wound roll for his overwatch.

  • Jonathan Taff Jones

In addition. My understanding the charge bonus for the bezerkers would apply to both their sets of attacks. My reasoning would be that the wording is “in the turn they charged” which would apply.

  • Andy

Modelling up a grand master in a dreadknight with psycannon and gatling psilencer asap ๐Ÿ˜€ afaik the strategem affects both?

  • Jonathan Taff Jones

great video overall. death to the traitorous scum

    • The B-Bone

      BOSH!

  • Cole Chism

Hey do you have any tips for modeling a grey knight apothecary?

    • Brendan Duffy

Buy a GK Terminators box – the bits for an apothecary are in there

  • Donald Sherwood

I don’t think it has been mentioned, but the plasma guns should be ruled separately for each model with one when overcharging. Since a roll of one to hit slays the bearer, you need to know which shots belong to which model. It also could have saved Bone a model or two, since one model could have rolled two ones, so would only have killed 1 model.

    • The B-Bone

This is very true! I realised this too late… BLAST!

      • Donald Sherwood

You’ll get him next time B-Buddy ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll lend you my bug spray for the pesky Spider!

  • James Daniel Wilcox

Goodness. Great job keeping the morale up there Bone. I don’t know how you guys brace yourselves to play against the Spider. I might re-watch this and record how many 6s he rolled that game.. it has to be some kind of record.

    • The B-Bone

I am a glutton for punishment haha!

      • Sam Shand

How did you not flip the table in rage, haha. I was about to throw my iPad against the floor.

    • Jonathan Taff Jones

because he has the memory of watching bolter fire and a grenade blow an eldar flyer out of the sky fresh in his mind.

  • John Barber

Just a quick question; does the CSM Daemon Prince now have the daemon Special rules like Unstoppable Ferocity for Khorne, Quicksilver Swiftness for Slaanesh etc?

    • jamboxdotcom

Re: the Berserker’s extra attacks, I don’t think they even needed to FAQ it, it was clear as written “…on the turn this unit charges…,” ergo they would indeed get the extra attacks even during their second (or even third) fight round during that turn. At least that was the consensus on the Facebook post when they were doing the Legion focus for World Eaters.

  • Modulus42B

Well, blimey, that was bloody! Good job guys, always entertaining now matter the outcome! And my mates were overjoyed to learn that my GKs will have +1 to all their psykic shenanigans. Not to add to Bone’s woes, but were those plasma chaps allowed to shoot on the turn that they’d fallen back? Maybe they have some chaosy thingy letting them do that…?

  • skipper

Berserkers that charge get to fight twice first. 3 times with the strategem. Dunno if it changed in the codex but dreadknights explode.
